When Ben Stewart was here in Australia in 2011 he and I had some awesome discussions regarding his ‘Age of Art’ perspective; we were sitting out the back of Max Igan’s place around a camp fire, to-ing and fro-ing throughout the exploration of Art as a way of Being. I hadn’t developed the sui generis to the point where it is now: it would have been fun to see where Ben would have taken that. :)

Max and I have been talking for awhile about doing one of his shows together and talking sui generis: I’m going to give him a loving poke about it when he gets back from overseas.

phenomenology… I like that. I have toyed with the idea that life is art. All life is art, and it is all ephemeral and there is only a little bit of it that will ever be explored by self-conscious (self-questioning) beings.

I believe that our ideas are very similar. Great blog I can’t wait to read more.
